Referrals to case management for short or medium-term support

Connect people to other services and refuges and other emergency accommodations if required

Children, Youth and Family Therapeutic Counselling

“Each family member has their own experience of family violence and its impacts. BWAHS counsellors work with children, young people and their families to restore a sense of safety after violence, and to make sense of their experience in a way that supports wellbeing and growth.”

Men's Therapeutic Counselling

"We support men in their healing journey to improve their wellbeing, and the safety of their families through yarning. It’s a space for men to talk and share their story, while exploring ways to be caring and respectful in their roles as partners, ex-partners, fathers, or co-parents."

-Guided by trauma-informed practices that are embedded in culture and knowledge from our ancestors

-Support men who have used violence, to change their patterns of behaviour

-Support for male victims of violence

-Support with risk assessments and safety planning

-Support men to connect to case management, AOD and other services

-Respectful and non-shaming connection

-Support for men to re-write the stories of their relationships
